θα ν' έχει δέντρα και πουλιά

θα 'χει βοσκούς τα πρόβατα
στη μάντρα να σταλίζουν
πρίνους να κάνουν ασκιανό
στο χώμα να καθίσεις
και να γροικάς τσι πέρδικες
να χαίρεται η ψυχή σου

Θα ν' έχει ψάρια θάλασσες
φουρτούνα ή μπονάτσα
βράχο να πέφτει απάνω 'ντου
το κύμα και να αφρίζει

θα ν' έχει ανθρώπους που έχασα
να πούμε μια κουβέντα
κι άλλους που δεν εκάτεχα να δώσουμε τη γνώρα
μικρά κοπέλια κοπελιές νέους γριές και γέρους

θα ξαναζήσω έρωτα και της αγάπης χάδι
θα ξανανιώσω της χαράς το δάκρυ να κυλήσει
θα έχω φίλους μπιστικούς και ταίρι αγαπημένο

Will there be fish and seas
good fortune and favorable wind
rocks falling into the water 
making frothing waves

Will there will people I missed
to talk to
and others to know whom I did not meet
little girls, young women, crones and old men

Will I find love again and caresses
will I feel the tears of joy flow again
will I have loyal friends and a loving partner
or will I be alone again, just as I'm leaving
