Άσπρο μαντήλι ανέμιζε
Άσπρο μαντήλι ανέμιζε
κι από χαρά πετούσε
Τη μοναξιά της γκρέμιζε
την αύρα της σκορπούσε
Ανέβαινε ψηλά βουνά
κι άνθιζε στην κορφή τους
Κι όλα τ’ αστέρια τ’ ουρανού
τη θέλανε δική τους
Πού χάθηκε, πού πέταξε
πού κίνησε, πού πήγε;
Όσους γνωστούς κι αν ρώτησα
κανένας δεν την είδε
Τόσο βαθιά με πλήγωσες
